DAY 1: We depart early in the morning at about 07:00am on our discovery of ancient civilisations and one of the worlds natural wonders - Pamukkale. After our short drive through the hills surrounded with Pine forests we stop for breakfast. We continue on our drive to the town of Selcuk arriving just before lunch. On arrival we will visit the last home of the Virgin Mary. After lunch we continue on our journey back in time to Ephesus – One of the largest and best preserved ancient Roman city. During the times of the Romans the city became the capital of Asia,ruling over 500 Anatolian towns. It was the home of the Temple of Artemis which is known to be one of the seven ancient wonders of the world. One of the most important streets of the city is Curetes Street. As we stroll along the marble streets we will visit the temples, monuments, fountains, statues, houses, public rest rooms and shops and magnificent Celsus Library. The Fountain of Trajan was built in the 1st century AD which was decorated with twelve statues of Venus. Saturn, Dionysus and some members of the Royal family. The Senate Building known as the Odeon both served as a meeting place and a smaller theatre for musical performances. For gladiator contests and some other shows were performed at the Great Theatre. We will also see the Harbor Street and much more as we walk through this amazing sight. The Museum awaits us with it’s ancient treasures before we make our way onto Pamukkale – Cotton Castle arriving by early evening. Overnight at Pamukkale

DAY 2: After breakfast we have a bizarre day out as we walk around a cotton castle to inspect the spectacular calcium deposits cascading down to form one of the eight natural wonders of the world. On this tour you will experience the freak creation of mother nature and will discover how mineral springs containing calcium oxide can form such wonders! Nearby, we explore the ruins of the ancient city of Hieropolis and its Museum before returning back to Marmaris arriving early evening.
